Missouri Duals

Mizzou goes 3-0 at the Mo duals going 27-3 over in matches. Peyton Westfaul drops a decision to NAIA #1 at 174 in OT. Both Trey Craig who was up at 285 and Jason Hampton drop decisions vs Maryville. Overall the Tigers looked good. No Sinclair, the broadcast said Smith held him out, no injuries just rest due to an active summer. Mendoza, Mauger, Steed and Rath all looked great going 2-0. Couple others went 2-0 as well, but those listed looked great. Rath was making his Mizzou debut after being out all last year. Next up on Nov 14 is the Tiger Style invite. I was surprised Sampson Stillwell didn’t go at all. Stoner went 2-0 and Craig went the match Stoner sat. Looks like the lineup could be Mauger, Walker, Fugitt, Mendoza, Rath, Conway, Steed, Sinclair, Geog and Stoner for now.

Heiser wrestled 165 in the second dual I believe. Which means for now he’s behind Conway as Conway wrestled the other 2 rounds.

Craig looked 1/2 the size of the Maryville HWT. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s 184/197 next year even in a backup role. Cash Cooley looks to be a good-sized 197 as he went rd 2 while Geog got a break. Seems Smith went full lineup for the most part in Rds 1&3 and got some young guys time in round 2. I think Heiser should start over Conway, but what do I know. I’m Super high on Heiser and Rath.
