Well you said he doesn't want that smoke or something, which a) you don't know b) few people want to get punched down on. Well the heel means the villain type or like a bad guy…at least that’s what I’ve always believed. By all accounts he’s always seemed like a really good kid. I’ve been watching his content for YEARS now. I think 100% he’d want the match but I think 100% he loses that match. Not wanting the smoke was in reference to him winning…not a personal attack. I had to turn the volume down myself…I really couldn’t listen anymore

LJB Posted September 19 Posted September 19 Belal is not a good wrestler by any stretch… we do not ever need to see him in RAF ever again… Rockhold same but even worse… Another good event overall but the the two “main” events were both awful wrestling and a total buzz kill… Khamzat let it slip he will be wrestling Colby in Abu Dhabi, so, that will be a legitimate match… Surprisingly, Tarzan showed some actual wrestling moves… he was absolutely dead by the second period but still showed some real technique… Mugzy coming through 30lbs lighter and having his finger broke showed heart… Pumped for Henschel getting the win and the belt… that kid is annoyingly wholesome but does love wrestling and takes it seriously… My guy Marstellar coming up big late to beat the world champ from Greece in a very good match… Harutyunyan dropping desanto for the belt was predictable but still a good match… I missed Blades wrecking another poor girl while getting the mutt out for a quick walk, but, that was never in doubt… there are about 5 women in this planet that can go with her and anyone else is just fodder… warrior babies… Bizhoev getting to the body and going high leg was a personal highlight for me… you don’t see leg grabbers even attempt that ever… Caliendo is a fav just in pace and grit and I know he is kicking himself for giving up that late step out for the loss, but, he is still a free neophyte… Meredith giving up 15 points to khabib’s guy in a sloppy but entertaining match was telling… poor guy was about to die by the end of the match having not wrestled competitively for 5 years… Him and Henschel makes sense, but, he better focus on wrestling if he has any real hopes of beating Henschel…
LJB Posted September 19 Posted September 19 i will refrain from whining about the commentary and the fact that none of them will take the steps to actually learn the rules for their job... Askren had some good moments helping them but totally whiffed on the Khamzat 4 on Burns... Burns lands on his hip and it is was a painfully clear 2... not sure if they refs ended up giving the 2 or 4 and if the YOLO brick was what pushed the score to a tech, but, it was a total roll eyes moment listening to them go on and on about a 4 on the mic... Harutyunyan having to tell Ramos how to ref mid match was another personal cringe moment... but again, whatever... i HATE HATE HATE this continued forced shot clock that they insist of implementing when it is 100% unnecessary... watching Colby get a tech coming out of forced par terre on a shot clock that expires during the position is just horrible and there is simply no need to end a match that way... the result was never in doubt as Belal simply can not wrestle at all, but, still felt really chincy...
