Its not crazy to say Gabe is a finalist contender.  

Minto is probably the favorite but he is by no means a next topic.  

Gabe arnold AND Mcenelly went into overtime with Dylan Fishback at 184 is he a title contender even though he didn't place?

What about Silas Allred? he lost to Mcenelly in overtime and didn't place either

Well Allred broke his ankle in the quarters and MFF out so I don't think him not placing means anything. 

I never said because he went to OT with Wask he is a title contender.  I listed the top contenders and how Gabe stacks up.  It's not particular deep.  For example, I won't be shocked if Gabe were to beat Steed who is the 2nd highest returning AA.

Oh yeah true I forgot Allred got injured. 

I definitely think he can AA, I just don't think he's offensive enough to be able to eek out close matches with the elite, but who know? maybe Jacob Warner could teach him some magic to make it to the finals

Exactly.  Imagine practicing with Angelo and Warner everyday.  He is going to be so good at 1-1 TB Ride Outs!

This!   Iowa is wrestling boring because of who that are being coached by in the mid to upper weights. Morningstar was a stalker who barely won matches in college and everyone he rolls with in the room suddenly loses offensive abilities. Warner is gonna be no different. Don't blame Gabe or Angelo or any of the upper weights, in highschool the put up big numbers, but then they get to the Iowa room and are afraid to shoot.
