How many of you can think of another match that ended with a stalling DQ? I was a part of one in high school but it looked a lot different than that one

One really stubborn wrestler on our team he used to not make weight very well. He also was obsessed with exerting his will on an opponent. He tied up with this guy face to face around middle of first period and the tie up didn't stop until the end. If I recall with around 35 seconds left his 4-1 lead had slipped to 4-4 with stalling and either he got stalled out or the coach came on the mat and told the ref he was forfeiting the match. The kid would not wrestle or listen!

I remember Cary Kolat executing that move back in the early 1990's in the PIAA finals.  And a quick google search brought up some grainy video of it:

It was done before that.

I saw footage from sometime in the 70's of a guy named Lee doing it against his opponent O'Harra at a tournament in Asia, believe it was on Han's Island.

Yes, I'm well aware of that match.  In fact, that was me (not Lee) who did that flip.  I was his stunt double.  (You had me for a minute though, Mr. OMW!)

Since you told your story I will throw mine in as well. I was always a better mat wrestler than I was on my feet and my senior year of high school the coach at a rival high school had convinced his wrestler he was going to get an upset win over me by getting takedowns and then cutting me (learned that from some of the other guys I knew on that team after the fact). I guess his entire plan was to not wrestle me on the mat because when I got the first takedown rather quickly all he did was clam up and try not to let me do anything on top, zero effort to get out. I kept active looking for an opening and the ref was encouraging him to start to wrestle, eventually he had to start calling stalling and he was DQed before the end of the first period

In college dual, we were behind going into the last match (heavyweight). This was many years ago but I recall we needed a pin to win. It was early in the season and the opposing team's wrestler had just finished football season. It was a close match going into the third and our guy was on top. The other heavyweight was completely gassed and refused to move at all (or maybe he just  couldn't). The ref starting calling stalling and he did not moved at all and was stalled out fairly quick.

My memory is that the opposing team was not that upset at the ref or even their wrestler.  It is a tough sport and football does not get you prepared for wrestling.
