  1. @uncle bernard was there some point in asking me if I thought people chanting "death to palestine" wanted the death of all israelis and the abolition of israel's political state?
  2. No, sense I think they want to do both, i answered correctly.
  3. I'm around a fair number, I'd guess 20% think its awesome, 40% respond based on the situation and don't think about it, 15% think its dumb but don't vocalize it, 15% think its dumb and say so publicly.
  4. but his had is bowed in a show of solemn humility! Next you'll be saying AJ spamming jesus in his social media captions is cringe!
  5. That say literally "Death to Isael" yes most of them. do you think that's a poor assumption?
  6. out of curiosity, are you of the opinion that if someone is unwilling to denounce Hamas, they are likely sympathetic to people who are yelling "death to israel"?
  7. Some cross promotion with MMA would actually help wrestling....unlike putting WFS and greco at the same place as the OTTs. Too bad it'd be hard to do a mixed card given the cage considerations.
  8. I pray for it daily...while looking in the mirror, almost naked, in a public gym, as I scream something stupid, on tik tok....
  9. nope. We rightfully point out how annoying these coaches can be the in corner, but watch this match and its hard to argue that Jones and Manning harassing the refs unmercifully took Tsargush's best "technique" away from him. epic singlet pull around the 2:15 mark
  10. didn't burroughs finally get a point against tsargush in 2011?
  11. yeah if you saying something really mean spirited or making an unsubstantiated accusation you're gonna get called out regardless, but if you're obviously attention seeking you're fair game for jokes when you're like 16 i think. It gets a little odd because jokes are supposed to 40/60 joke/truth, insults are 60/40 truth/joke or more...so people can blur those lines but i don't see anything like that here.
  12. Gilman had the virtue of periodically getting completely embarassed and having to shut up for a few weeks....circle of life.
  13. when ferrari hit the splits he saw the great cringe in the sky and was converted.
  14. Yeah for me it just depends how disruptive it is. Running off to cool down is fine. If its crowded and you're bumping into people its dumb, if your disrupting the way the people running the tournament wanted to present it I find that kind of obnoxious, don't know of any competitive advantage of running to the mat....if it was the only obnoxious thing he'd ever done I would give a pass but its very much the behavior of the dork who ran into minnesotas huddle and stuff like that.
  15. Its a flagship of pseudo intellect tripe as far as rules go. It doesn't encourage aggressive wrestling ever, its impossible to enforce consistently, and I've when you try to explain it to people who don't know the sport they scoff at it. Just take it out.
  16. how old does he have to be before we can make jokes...
  17. Star would be easier to stall against. but yeah keck would make him look bad.
  18. Hey was running past the other athletes, thier coaches and trainers etc. It was off putting because there was an organized procession of people before every match, they had everyone walk out in an organized fashion about a minute before their match, a little silly, but they were adding a bit of ceremony to add some gravity to the event. Anyway, gilman just ran pass everyone and did his own thing and I thought it was a bit obnoxious.
  19. he's not one of these guys like burroughs or snyder who are surprisingly small when you see them in person.
  20. it particularly annoying when you don't know if its a lame troll or authentic stupidity.
  21. he's not as athletic as nickal. (tim johnson haters should love this post)
  22. I think PSU will get him whatever they have to. They aren't having the first and hopefully only 5 timer wearing an ISU singlet or whatever.
  23. What if he took his own life (heaven forbid obviously), and the note read..."fired conditioning coach".
