I think Iowa has more of a shot then OU. OU has Joey Cruz at 125 and Henson at 133 with 2 studs coming in at 133/141 (Zan F. & Anthony S.)
Plus Iowa will need a 133 after Teske leaves. So they can work it out if he and Iowa both want him IC. It’d be a MAJOR get if they don’t get Nagao and land Spratley.
but why are you guessing OU and OKie State? Is it because it’s close to Texas?
I wouldn’t think so with Joey Cruz at 125 and Wyyat Henson at 133. Plus they don’t even have a HC right now, if they were to get him I’d be super shock
It’d be amazing if Iowa was going after him, he will slot perfectly after Kennedy. Plus if Angelo commits with his brothers to Iowa, Angelo has ties with him right ? @Laxhawk174
LaDarion Lockett is an amazing prospect too from this class! I wonder if he is a forsure lock for OSU.
Is there a possible chance that another school can land him?
Yeah he’s visiting Virginia Tech today. Someone from Virginia Tech wrote up a article about it. So I’m guessing it’s just Anthony and maybe AJ at Iowa this weekend? Well , Anthony is forsure there.
Yeah he would be a great get! He lost to a Senior, Purdue commit Orlando Cruz, at the State Finals last year and at the Al Smith (I wanna say). Both of those wrestlers are studs!
Hope he stays in state at Purdue or IU!
When and where was this?
When he committed he said he will be going 149. Maybe he has grown a bit? Maybe he didn’t take his diet as serious? Idk, lol I guess we will just see when the time comes
I’d honestly be surprised if he did. Are there rumors circulating or is this your own speculation? I haven’t heard anything about him hitting the portal but I may be extremely out the loop if there is some smoke/rumors with him leaving Minnesota
I don’t think he will end in the portal. With Nagao most likely leaving ( I’d be super surprised if he decided to stay at Minnesota) I think it opens up some room for Mitch M. And Troy to decide whose going what weight. Then after this year he can descend to 125 or be at 133.
Nah, not at all; but I remember when Chittum committed he said his plan was to go 149. Don’t know if that still stands or if he grew some more; but that is what he said on a couple of interviews when he first committed
