  1. Barraclough is clearly the biggest addition to the Utah Valley team but unless I'm mistaken he has only one year of eligibility remaining, i.e., the 2025 season. By my count the upcoming season will be his 6th year of NCAA wrestling.
  2. Will they equal the success of Little Rock in a few years?
  3. Former Boise State wrestler Andrew Hochstrasser as an assistant wrestling coach. Hochstrasser was a teammate of Utah Valley's head wrestling coach when they were both competing for Boise State and he was also a three-time NCAA qualifier and a two-time NCAA All-American (2nd in 2011 and 4th in 2009). https://gouvu.com/sports/wrestling/roster/coaches/andrew-hochstrasser/2411
  4. Yet several of those upperclassmen are listed by WrestleStat as starters for Stanford next season. The ten 2024 Stanford wrestlers who particpated in the 2024 Senior Day at Stanford are the following (Starters listed in Bold print): Jaden Abas - 2024 RS Senior - 149 lbs Luciano Arroyo - 2024 5th year Senior - 141 lbs Suhas Chundi - 2024 Senior - 125 lbs Charlie Darracott - 2024 Senior - 157 lbs - Transferred to Virginia Jackson DiSario - 2024 5th year Senior - 133 lbs Dom LaJoie - 2024 Grad student - 133 lbs Peter Ming - 2024 Senior - 285 lbs - In the transfer portal (unsigned to date) Jason Miranda - 2024 Senior - 141 lbs Dawson Sihavong -2024 5th year Senior - 149 lbs Nick Stemmet - 2024 Senior - 197 lbs Yet Abas, Chundi, Miranda and Stemmet are listed on WrestleStat as members of the 2025 Stanford wrestling team.
  5. Correction to typo mistake. Oregon State is rated # 1 (not # 2) in the remaining two weight classes. I tried to correct it immediately after posting this but I was not allowed to correct the mistake. And this is occurring (for reasons unknown) on three very different websites. So it's not an forum issue.
  6. If you review the four remaining PAC 12 wrestling schools' projected starters for 2025 via WrestleStat it seems clear that Little Rock is the clear favorite to win the "PAC 4" this season. The Trojans have the highest rated guy at half of the weight classes (125, 133, 165, 197 and 285 lbs) as well as four of the guys who are rated second best in their weight class (141, 149, 157 and 184 lbs). That's nine of ten weight classes among these four schools where Little Rock is rated first or second. Cal Poly is rated # 1 in three weight classes and Oregon State is rated # 2 in the remaining two weight classes. Oregon State has three weight classes where there guy is rated second best and Cal Poly has two who are rated second best among these four schools.
  7. There's nothing more hilarious than when Left wing buffoons put their ignorance on display for all to see. Liberal democrats are TRUTH PHOBIC. And truer words have never been written. And I write that here as a former Democrat.
  8. As of Friday afternoon the total raised is just under $91,000. They need a little over $9 k to reach their goal of $100 k. https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-dominic-mendez-embrace-his-new-future?viewupdates=1&rcid=r01-171830004232-37ad3c1e29ab11ef&utm_medium=email&utm_source=customer&utm_campaign=p_email%2B1137-update-supporters-v5b
  9. If that's "the bigger picture" then I'm happy to have missed it. Anyone who is so weak-minded that their life is "run" by the ANTI-social websites that are ridiculously referred to as "social" media are too moronic to take seriously. Or pay any attention to at all. You might as well tell me you worship snail trails.
  10. As of Thursday morning the total raised (so far) is now up to nearly $85,000 ($68 shy of that).
  11. As of Saturday morning at about 8 a.m. the total raised so far is now up to $67,110 with the goal being $100,000. So they are two-thirds of the way to their goal.
  12. Updated total is now up to $43,855 with 340 donors. That's a rough average of $130 per donor. And the goal is $100,000. So they have increased the total by more than $10k just in the last few hours.
  13. So far the average donation is $117.28 with 284 donors contributing $33,308 (it went up since I made my donation).
  14. That's awful. I will contribute $100 to the cause. Feel free to outdo me as $100 is as much as I can manage as I'm a Senior Citizen on a fixed income. After I donated my $100 (and a 10% tip for the GoFundMe company) the total raised so far is $33,158. Judging by the graph on the page it appears that they are somewhere between 25 and 33% of their goal right now.
