If you look closely at some scenes, both Jesse Janzten and Corey Janzten are in the movie. Jesse as Terry Brands (I assume) and Corey w/ a small speaking part as one of Robles teammates...It makes me wonder if Jesse had any sort of producing input on the project? I believe he did in Foxcatcher! They always seem to have their hands in there somewhere for these wrestling themed movies...

I would hope that some coach(s) will send or accept PJ to NLWC for his senior year...He has nothing left to prove on the high school level!! Maybe the OTC? Anything besides destroying anyone in his path to another state NYS title!!

Agreed...Very cheesy on so many advertised levels but still made for an action-packed style template! I too, want to see you tube drop the Jantzen v Larkin video; a Real Pro Wrestling classic!! The team names were certainly part of the overall schtick!!

I loved this format! Match went to 15, not 10 and there was par terre potential points in the "bonus" time! A lot of action and fun to watch back in the day!! Even included push out points...Good Stuff!

Word has it 125lb'r Anthony Noto (2x AA @ Lock Haven) is moving up to 133 for the upcoming season. I know he tested the waters earlier this summer in a tournament around that weight...Let's see how that goes?! There are some studs there!

Not confirmed but rumored from a few good sources that Penn State approached Anthony Noto after his impressive 4th place finish last week. God knows they need a 125lber. Thought Robbie Howard was possibly returning next season? With all the NIL going on (ala Real Woods last season), this would not surprise me. I don't see him leaving a good thing @ Lock Haven!!

Just an observation and curiosity question here...Are there any wrestlers out there that seem to be a fan favorite / fan bad boy or character?! This season seems to be lacking wresting that kicks up the entertainment factor and creates some/any emotion??! Few and far between! Certainly, this year is filled with ducking, dodging & no shows, which doesn't help! The holiday tournament viewing was abysmal! I was happy to see Spencer Lee spout out after decking Ayala and diss Brands not once BUT twice (after Ramos) while smacking his head WWE style into an aluminum pole after being down 8-1!! Good stuff! Maybe that's a start?! Where's the Johny Hendricks type guys when you really need him right now!!! Just sayin...
