  1. Was able to attend RAF1 in person up in Cleveland and had a blast. Loved having the ability to see multiple world champions and olympians compete. Besides a few video/audio blunders (very minimal) it was a really clean production and I cannot wait for the next card. The only thing that I thought was (as the youths say) "cringe" was all the manufactered beef and sh*ttalking (Woods and Caldwell, Hendrickson and Parris etc). Awkward at best. You know when you are watching a tv show or a movie and they have wrestling on display and you can immediately tell that the actors either have never wrestled before in their lives or have only learned to wrestle over the past few weeks? That's how these interactions looked. Completely disengenuine, forced, and fake. Either hire a professional to teach "beefing with others 101" or just let your wrestling do the talking. (ps I know that this is mainly to drum up likes and eyes on the event so I get it, just sharing my opinion of the optics)
  2. Is it confirmed yet that he will be competing in all divisions?
  3. Kind of a weird question, can a wrestler wrestle for a specific college but also at a different RTC/WC? So in this case Bo chooses to wrestle at Pitt but then in the offseason trains at NLWC?
  4. You guys are the best. Thanks for getting me up to speed. T-minus 3hrs till FinalX!
  5. ok last one then i will leave you alone.....schools get to choose between the revenue sharing or the 30 scholarships (referring to your original post) also....thank you for your patience, just a heads up, your handle is incorrect...you definitely know a little something!
  6. gotcha, so every school that participates in the revenue sharing gets a piece of the 20.5m and they can divvy that up across sports?
  7. I've seen this being talked about, but don't really understand what it means. Does it just mean the universities can now pay athletes based on the revenue they make?
  8. McKenna, Green, and Snyder are the only ones from the old guard (I know its only panams) but USA wrestling is in good hands with these yungins coming through
  9. I was going to ask what their training situations are? Are they all just sticking together at bishop mccort or do they travel to a local RTC to get different matches/looks with older guys?
  10. I think thats my only hesitation with Bassett at the next level...especially going to iowa which historically (please dont kill me) has focused on just the hand fighting/forward pressure/brawler style...He isnt going to brutalize everyone like he has done with kids his own age...but I have faith he is going to keep developing
  11. Yea I think that's where my confusion came in.....so what you were saying is he would have a limit to eligible schools that would allow him to transfer in right? When I first read your post I thought there was a new guideline that was being implemented in regards to the portal (9am on a Monday so the coffee still needs to kick in)
  12. Stanich's shot defense was/is next level, we saw that in both his semis and finals matches...what Bassett needs to work on as he gets ready for college (take this observation with a grain of salt. I was nowhere near the level of wrestler he is) is his mid match tactics and adjustments. He seemed to try to stick to the same gameplan in the finals and I think it cost him.
  13. So are you saying that Mirasola wouldnt be able to enter the portal even if he wanted to?
  14. Is it better to train in that environment for a couple of seasons and soak up as much information and knowledge as possible and then transfer out for his final two years?
  15. Lolol looking at my list, I dont think I got one AA. Dang.
