    That team in college wrestling would be Ohio State or Michigan. Unfortunately for OSU they blew their wad on paying football players over a million bucks per year and they didn't hold anything back for the wrestling program!

    Then clearly the biggest beneficiary of transfers is easily PSU if you go back far enough. They have 2 straight up NCAA champs that I know about that transferred in: MM and Kerk.

    Kerk never wrestled a single match at OSU. Does it really count if the guy never actually wrestled any matches before transferring? That article would be heartbreaking from a Buckeye perspective, missing out on a soon to be 5 time AA and 3 time finalist in favor of Chase Singletary, who never made it to NCAAs again after his R16 season. I bet Rom Ryan still kicks himself in the butt every day.

    LOL...true. From what I hear Cruise benefits greatly from his membership in the cult. Supposedly he gets free cult labor to mow his lawn, clean his pool, etc. That's in addition to all the powers he acquired from getting rid of all the alien spirits that used to inhabit his body. Now he can teleport himself, use telekinesis, predict the future, turn invisible, etc.

    Good point about grad students. For the record I don't have a problem with the transfer portal. Guys aren't slaves to programs and signing a letter of intent shouldn't mean they are signing their lives away to potential tyrant coaches.

    They got Heindselman from OU at HWT now. Huge step down from UM's usual heavies. He'll score 2 or 3 points at NCAAs.

    Oklahoma State obviously benefited greatly from their transfers. I doubt they'd even be top 10 without Hamiti, Fish, and Hendrickson, but guys who transferred to Iowa are even better (Parco, Teemer, Buchanon). I guess Cal State Bakersfield probably benefited more than anybody getting AJ Ferrari. Just one guy but they had squaduche before so he's a huge bump.
