  1. Wrestling will start tomorrow morning @ 3am (ah, yep... at 3 #@$&$!am in the morning!) We're starting off w/70, 74, 97, & 125Kg wt. classes first. They're splitting the qualifier rnd w/ 4 wt. classes each day until the last two wts (61 & 86Kg) on Tuesday... finishing off w/ the last medal round on Wednesday. D3
  2. 7 out of 10 USA entries are all in the upper brackets... not that it mean anything here (depending who IS in that side of the bracket, along with our guys.) D3
  3. LEHIGH's Ryan Bernholz 1997-2001 AA in his sophomore season 6th at Penn St NCAA's in 1999. EIWA champ in his RS freshman season 1998... placed 3rd & 5th afterwards, in'99 & '01. I would say his biggest and most impressive win was his dual win over Penn's Yoshi Nakamura @ 157. It went into OT and Ryan won in 1-1 tiebreaker. It was the last dual of the season and last for Ryan in Old Grace Hall. THE ENTIRE LEHIGH CROWD LIFTED THE ROOF OFF WITH RYAN'S WIN OVER YOSHI N. It Was AWSOME! Ryan qualified for the NCAA's coming in 5th place at the EIWA's (the surprise team champion was the Harvard!)... and he eventually met Nakamura again in the consis, one rnd before the blood round, but came up short 10-5 dec. Nakamura would eventually place 7th. Oh, but that dual win for Ryan was most memorable! D3
