  1. I thought that Myles Amine's quarterfinal was insane. 16-15 or 16-14 was the final. It was great and exciting.
  2. So my post was from March 25th Whiting and Boersma hadn't transferred yet. So my opinion now. 125- Surtin (but unlike last year he will have some people to spell him from time to time. I heard Freshman Gage Walker is down here. So he might push things) 133- Kade Moore (Crawford is still there and Jake Crapps could push him as well) 141- Josh Edmond (round of 12. Could be AA. Zeke Seltzer could also be a player here if he is not 149) 149- Seltzer (if he has grown into one), Pulliam, McCallister or Gioffre (Gioffre may end up being the 157 which is why I put him last. But Pulliam majored Willochell, McCallister was their biggest 2023 recruit, and Seltzer could be the guy here if he has put on 149 muscle) 157- Gioffre or Fisher (Fisher is listed as the starter on wrestlestat. He didn't wrestle a match last year but in his redshirt year he beat 2 national qualifiers in Dejon Castro and Jared Hill. So maybe) 165- Steed or Conway (Conway still may try to make 157) 174- KOT 184- Hawks 197- Elam (If Elam can't go, Then Sinclair or Hawks) 285- Nitzel (entered the portal but is on Mizzou's roster)
  3. In the later video that I saw the ref was speaking on it and said the kid had the toe and was cranking the knee against the joint by pulling at the toe. Which is actually illegal. But he was calling PD
  4. I saw something else. The guy ran to another state. But was arrested on the warrent. The ref he assaulted was a lawyer. He is screwed. My guess this isn't his first run in with the law. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk
  5. I think Pac-12 is waiting to see if Tarleton State joins DI (which I think we will find out by Sept) So they would be in by 2025-2026. That would bring them back up to 5. Pac 12 - Cal Poly, Cal St. Bakersfield, Oregon State, Tarleton State, Little Rock
  6. Nitzel is in the portal. But he was listed as Tiger Style WC for U23. So maybe he entered the portal so if they got Hendrickson he could go someplace else. But Since they didn't, he will stay.
  7. If Schwartz makes 133 I will be surprised. Also, Doesn't round of 12 Heindselman have one more year?
  8. I hope it is a good "Atmosphere" and there was no "Shadowplay" going on in the recruiting (Sorry huge Joy Division fan)
  9. @flyingcement don't mean to be a stickler but it is Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville so it is SIU-E not SIEU (or SIUE if you don't like hyphens). There is also Southern Illinois University - Carbondale and that is SIUC (or SIU-C if you are a big fan of hyphens).
  10. I am a Mizzou fan so I hope he goes to Mizzou and Dom Bradley just beat him. But he would be able to work out with Dom and Zach (He is evidently sticking around for Rocky's Sr year). So I think he would have workout partners there. Also, There is a Air Force base close by.
  11. Also, Missouri is close to his home state as well and essentially equidistant (30/45 minutes difference).
  12. Hawks had two wins against top 10 opponents and Whiting's best win was against #31. I'm sure if Whiting beats Wolf in the dual. The spot is probably his. If you look at it logically it gave them a better chance of getting an at-large if needed. Cause there was 6 of the top 12 wrestlers in Big XII (Keckeisen, Plott, Berge, Wolf, Feldkamp,Hawks/Whiting) and only five allocations and five at-large bids. Hawks almost assured them of a spot at Nationals if they needed an at-large. Whiting probably would have. But It was not guaranteed As far as wrestle offs, I mean everyone of their matches were OT matches. We all know if you wrestle someone all the time. It is not really indicative of who the better wrestler is (Not saying which one is better). I am sad to see him in the portal. But at the end of the day. I am sure it was a tough choice for the coaching staff.
  13. I just saw on Flo that Isaiah Powe of Chattanooga entered the portal. He was 25-4 this year as a true freshman and 1-2 at NCAA Losing to Mendez and Matthews. I was watching him first match and thinking "Yeah He might get a good deal if he enters the portal." We shall see. But I think he would be a good catch for whatever team he chooses (even back to Chattanooga)
  14. I agree he is not a small 165 lbs. I also don't think Roller is going to go 133. They recruited him as a 149/157 lbs. I know he wrestled 138 lbs. this season. But I see him growing. I personally think the lineup will look like this (with no Portal help) 2024/2025 125- Surtin 133- Moore 141- Edmond 149- Seltzer/Pulliam/Gioffre 157- Conway/Gioffre 165- Steed 174- O'Toole 184- Hawks/Whiting 197-Elam 285-Nitzel 2025/2026 125-Mauger/Walker 133-Moore/Crapps/Mendoza 141- Edmond 149- Seltzer/Roller/McCallister 157-Rath 165-Conway 174-Steed 184-Whiting (Hawks could be here. But it will be his 6th year) 197- Sinclair 285-Nitzel/Stillwell
  15. Going back to his hometown
