    Well based on what I just learned, I wouldn't think Thompson would transfer right now as he wouldn't be able to wrestle this season being a RSSO. Not sure how many graduated/grad students besides Young would transfer mid-season that want to change teams.

    So if Sealey decided to suddenly transfer before Dec. 31st he would not be eligible to wrestle 2nd semester if I interpret this correct.....

    I had just seen in the transfer portal thread regarding Carter Young- So it appears the answer to my question would be YES.

    If by chance someone does enter the transfer portal after this weekend, would they be eligible to wrestle next semester for their new team? I can't keep up with all these rule changes and updates.

    Lots of great matchups once again this weekend. The next time we see a Desmond/Lilledahl or Sealey/ Duke match some of these guys might be in new singlets.

    And this is no disrespect to my boy Mendez at 141, as it is obviously at great 1-2-3 punch I was just trying to focus on the guys who changed weights or are newer starters to the team.

    I attribute it to Ohio St being healthy. Plus having Bouzakis at 125 and Davino at 133 is a killer 1-2 punch. I called it at the end of last season that if Bouzakis could somehow get down and maintain 125 this is a top 3 team for 2025-26. Cannon also burst onto the scene late and Stiles and Fishback 2 great transfers that should help immensely. Also credit to the coaches, a very veteran and smart staff. These Ohio St dudes are getting after it in neutral and scoring at will.

    I think you could put any combination of Ohio St Iowa and Oklahoma St 2-4. Really depends on who peaks at the right time. Nebraska could always get hot again too and sneak right back into the top 3.

    Not sure if it's happening but I think you'd have to put Oklahoma St at 4 (Maybe 3) If Jax wrestles second semester.

    I think it's so tough to win the Hodge these days when you have 1-2 losses. Similar to when the committee loves to award the Heisman to a player whose team goes undefeated or has 1 loss on the season.

    Have loved watching these duals all weekend. I’ve just had the Flo 4 camera match view up the entire time, so many great matches.
