It is the greatest week of the year (for most of us I would assume). I can't wait for Thursday.  I have a few questions for anyone who may know the answer to them. We are not able to make it down or stay for the full time (super sad). We are coming down for session 3 and have to leave early Saturday morning.

1. Does anyone have a hotel room they don't think they will be using and is available?

2. Does anyone have a historical view on ticket prices for individual sessions? Do they get cheaper the closer we get? I have seen prices dropping pretty quickly right now but not sure if that continues as we get closer. I have always bought tickets directly from a school so this is all foreign territory for me.

3. People that have been to Cleveland before. How is the casino that is right by the stadium and is there any places like in Kansas City (Power and Light District) or St. Louis (ballpark village)

If I recall, tickets continue to drop up until the sessions but do level off a bit in the last 24 hours.  If you don't care where you sit, wait as long as you want.  If you see something that drops and is good value, probably should get them as those typically get purchased.

I will defer to any locals but from the last time NCAAs where in Cleveland, there are bars fairly close but more of a street with bars (4th street?) than a district/square like KC and StL.   The casino has blackjack and craps along with slots and an okay size with lots of wrestling fans in it if it was like last time.

Dogbone is right. Ticket prices will drop but you run the risk of missing out on all lower bowl tickets if you wait too long. So if you are OK with upper deck, wait until the last minute. If you want lower bowl, you should probably buy now.

A couple other things to note: (i) it will be cheaper to buy from scalpers outside the stadium vs. buying from stubhub, but you'll have to negotiate on price and also run a small risk of getting scammed; and (ii) you'll get the best deals for the Sat. morning session if you wait until right before; lots of people plan to go but end up too hungover or burned out on watching wrestling. In fact, that's a good day to buy nosebleed tix and just move down to any lower bowl seats that are open. There's usually a bunch.

Thursday and Saturday morning you can buy upper level tickets and move into empty seats in the lower bowl with no problems.

Yea. I have done the seat move multiple times. Somehow sat lower bowl for every session the last 2 years.

we will most likely just buy lower bowl for Thursday night, and both on Friday.
