Wow...you seriously are going to try and equate the two things...yikes!

Again, answer the question...who would win, handedly, if the boys high school state champs wrestled the collage NCAA women's champs??  I'll even let you pick the state for the boy's champs.

If the boys do not hold back they demolish the women. But plenty of the boys would indeed hold back purely out of concern they would seriously injure the women.

Sports were literally segregated by race.

Clearly not the same.

Exactly the same arguments being used by some of the same people (who are now 80+). It's even a critical assumption in To Kill a Mockingbird, as otherwise the plot doesn't even make any sense.

They are separated by age group too. Do you want 8 year olds wrestling against seniors?

Your argument is a fallacy.

Your argument is a fallacy.

And that's why the NCAA has rules. Skin checks, weight, age and several transgender-specific rules, for both safety and fairness.

Pennsylvania seniors traditionally enjoyed watching their grandsons perform at the states from the comfort of their home via PCN for FREE. Not anymore. I’m on the side of our seniors and literally drove to PIAA headquarters to voice my opinion when this decision was made many years ago.

What decision?

selling the rights to broadcast PA State Championships to FLO. The contractual agreement should have included free access to PA residents. The one state constantly providing recruiting talent to everyone else deserves at least that. I know idiotic and impossible to enforce but I got the balls to at least ask.

With all these misplaced posts about women's wrestling (are you in the wrong thread?), actually sending a representative of women's wrestling to the White House conference would have been a great counter-balance to all the football and basketball reps.

Hard to argue against representation from the fastest growing sport in the country at the youth level.

I thought college wrestling had a new ally with Trump in the White House.

Don't fool yourself, Trump could give a shit about wrestling (besides professional).  He went to NCAA's because a large percentage of the fans probably voted for him and he knew he'd get a big cheer.  Same reason he attended the Daytona 500, super bowl in New Orleans, and MMA events. It was an ego boost and pr opportunity for him, nothing more.

(The exact same reason why he did not attend the super bowl in California or the Olympics, where he would have likely been booed).

(this is not meant to be a political post, just a statement of the facts)
