HOW IS THIS NOT STALLING?

Elam starts on top.  Merrill gets to feet.  Elam doesn’t really do much to get Merrill down.  Deicides to lift him into air.  Impressive for a big guy. Then holds him in air. For over 5 seconds ….  Not trying to get Merrill down to mat.  Then walks Merrill, while still in the air …. Right to OOB.  Does let Merrill put feet down —- OOB before he himself goes OOB.

So freaking blatant driving the action OOB.  Can’t be more blatant.  Infuriating.

It is stalling, but the timing matters. 30 secs left and you do that for 10-15 secs. Ref should be nailing you for stalling. You pull a Kasak and lift Teemer up for the last few secs, throw in a fist pump and your bloody bandaged head, it’s a good tactic to kill a few seconds safely and makes for an iconic wrestling photo.

Elm should've been dinged in 3rd but ref didn't want to decide the match. Elam prayers were answered.  In TB1,2 they both stalled and the ref gave Elam a break in TB2 because he gave Merrill a break in TB1.  125 was weird because Poulin doesn't get taken down and rides a guy for a minute 40 and is down 3-0. 197 was weird because Merrill really wrestled better  I think he has the second TD when Elams knee goes down before he gets Merrills ankles on the reach back and the 3rd period failure to return to mat by Elam.
