Coaching changes

We all talk about the potential changes based on public perception on performance and records. But if you look across the 88 or so D1 teams there are other potential items that could lead to changes.  These could be AD decision or coach's decision, below are some of the factors that can lead to them.

• Chasing NIL understandings.
• School investing all extra funds to football and basketball. AD’s not truly invested in wrestling.
• Parent entitlement involvement in this ERA.
• Stability in coaching college wrestling.
• Overall age of the coach.
• Better wrestlers leaving for “grass is greener”
• Coaching at mid level programs ie SO CON,MAC and others.
• Lack of new d1 schools bringing on wrestling.

i think the two leading factors over the next years will be age of coaches and smaller conference stability.
