Generally speaking, if someone wants to be the best in the world, they need to take a path other people might not normally take. But of course nobody is obligated to attempt to reach that level.

He is absolutely trying to reach that level.  And he is reaching it as quick as anybody in our history.

Your comment suggests that he needs to be willing to do what you think he should.  You are equating your opinion on training situation with willingness to commit or sacrifice.  That's weird and arrogant.

The goal should be to be the best in the world.   And then go intergalactic if possible.

He seems to be already doing that while wrestling in high school. You have to remember Bishop McCort isn't your average high school wrestling an average schedule. Trust me he is getting all the challenges and competition he needs in that wrestling room and in the schedule his team wrestles.

I think I mentioned this before but Blaze and Duke both got considerably better this year while almost entirely training at their high school and clubs which at best are comparable to Mccort/compound in terms of partners. He is also going to be in Stillwater a lot I assume.
