Yes.   Bassett was much more controlled in the finals, a lot less sloppy, and looked great.

1st period tech is pretty impressive against Rivera. I think he is more of a folk guy but he made the round of 16 this year. Stuff like that really puts into perspective how good these kids are. People like to get on Bo because he may not be quite as good as Jax/PJ/Marcus but any other time period if you said a kid about to start his senior year of high school just teched a round of 16 guy in a minute 40 seconds you would think he was the second coming.

What I meant was that Bassett really looks at his opponent.  He looks great when he's under control and he is against decent opponents.  He was really, really sloppy against crappy opponents.  It looks like he respected Rivera and went about his business.  

I believe that he's going to be a 2x or 3x champ if his weight works out.  He runs into issues when he can't physically dominate guys and really needs to work on leg attacks.
