HS Rule Changes

HS rule changes are out. I have a question from one of the rule changes:

"Although the leg block/cut-back maneuver already was an illegal move, the committee added “when leaving the feet and using the foot or leg to ‘cut out’ an opponent’s leg, to include from the rear-standing position.”

Does this include lifting an opponent when you are behind them for a mat return, and using your own foot to sweep the leg in order to return them to the mat?

No, they are talking about the offensive man in rear standing completely leaving his feet to do a "cutback" aka a "judo drop" aka "a pistol" aka "scissor trip"

I'll see if I can find a clip.  It was already illegal in college (I saw Vito get banged for it) and different state associations have outlawed it.

Ahhh...got it. Thanks for that clarification. I always need a clarification to the clarification when rule changes come out.
