I see a couple threads about Brennan and even though I read about ten posts, I have no idea what the controversy is.  Can someone provide a quick summary of what the controversy is as I saw a letter on twitter but unfortunately the print size was too small and I couldn't make it out.

brother saw his siblings reaching into the cookie jar a 5th time and assumed he had permission to do the same, allegedly

His mother said it was OK but then the brothers and sisters said it really isn't fair. but his cousins who didn't take any the previous Sunday could go for their 5th cookie  and their Mom is smaller than their Aunt!

Peanut Butter flavored cookies to be exact.

Not those overrated Oreos.

To wrestle 5 postseasons you must have wrestled the 2021 'free' Covid year. Brennan did not. He wrestled Pac12's in 2020, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025.

Thanks.  Someone entitled thread Weight-gate?  Seems really strange if the controversy is whether he was out of eligibility but yet still wrestled.

Weight-gate was a separate controversy at Big 12s.

How would wrestling when out of eligibility not be a controversy?

Of course it is.  That is why the title of thread weightgate seems confusing as eligibility and weight seem entirely separate issues.  Maybe, I'm missing something, but if the guy has used up his eligibility, why isn't it obvious to the Little Rock coaching staff and the team's opponents that he shouldn't have wrestled?
