Cor Blok Tolkien illustrations are the worst

I saw his stuff in a book we got years ago.   I could almost do as good. 

 

 

Just the absolute worst illustrations I have ever seen.   No one could convince me these are anything other than substandard artistic work. 

Reminds me of the ruined  painting of Jesus.

 

I thought I'd just put in something different other than politics.
