Cael is *only* 44 years old

He could easily coach another 10-15 years if he wishes to.  Unless Cael takes an early retirement, meaning he retires before the age of 50, I think Penn State can't really be a viable place for guys like DT, Dake, Nolf, Zain, etc to start their coaches careers if they wish to start as a Head Coach.

In all likelihood, the next head coach of Penn State is going to be a guy who hasn't even started his NCAA career yet.

Why are you assuming PSU will hire a first time coach as the next head coach after Cael?  If DT, or anyone mentioned, is running a successful program when Cael retires, they can still be hired away by PSU.

DT, Dake (??), Nolf, Zain, should all get into coaching if that is what they want to do.  If they are good enough they will get an opportunity to be the coach to succeed Cael.

Cael is good for the sport. We need a colossus for everybody to pull against.
