Juliana O’Campo finished 6th in Indiana, which has a single tournament meaning no classes.  Two state finals wins to her credit this year, one by fall bur only after a scoring comeback and one by major.  First girl in the history of the Indiana state tournament to place in boys state, although she’s qualified twice before.  And this is from a state that produces Olympic bronze and two-time world silver medalist Sarah Hildebrandt who never qualified. And two time world silver medalist Kayla Miracle who only qualified once.

This could be the one and only time we see this too as Indiana is considering officially sanctioning girls wrestling as a state sport by next year and possibly restricting each genders to only their state tournament.
