Obviously there are going to be calls that probably could've gone either way.  But I feel like I see it often where you have guys saying things like "this was the worst call ever!" when it was really borderline.   Obviously aren't going to encourage people to get into officiating doing stuff like that

I loved the Jason Kelce response halfway through the year on the topic. Victimization and blame are problems. I do it too, though lol.

Where I'm at, finding quality high school referees/umpires/officials is a huge problem. It's no wonder why.

Yeah I just watched that and don’t hate it.  Maybe could’ve given it to Poulin a second or 2 sooner but he didn’t really seem to be in control, and at one point Surtin did almost roll through with the cradle locked up.
