He would be one if the favorites. If he were to go up now, he would get out-horsed by Robb, O'Conner, and Franek. I hope he goes up next season. 1 "I know actually nothing. nhs67 Posted February 9, 2023 Share Posted February 9, 2023 Also, when Iowa State was having lineup problems because Gomez couldn't make 133 and they had Parker and Degen at 141/149 I said perhaps Gomez could do damage at 157. I was laughed out the door. I now think that he would actually not do too well at 157. Not at Folkstyle. He may have great success at 70 KG (65 KG for Oly??), but at Folkstyle he is more susceptible to being exposed. Look at the Andonion matches last year for example. There are more guys with that length that can give him fits at 157. Especially in Folkstyle. "I know actually nothing.
