JMill Posted August 23 Posted August 23 (edited) The production of this event is unbelievable… but Ono had to start it off by being dominantly defensive… or is it defensively dominant… Edited August 23 by JMill

LJB Posted August 23 Posted August 23 Ono was the only wrestler in that match that was going forward… Davino didn’t even try anything but grab elbows until down 4-0 and a minute left…
JMill Posted August 23 Posted August 23 Agreed. He showed why he’s a world champ. Controlled where the match was wrestled and how it was wrestled for six minutes… just would’ve been nice to see him make some more scoring attempts.
LJB Posted August 23 Posted August 23 This is the beauty of RAF… I had no interest in this match at all… and still thoroughly entertaining… 2
RAFWiki Posted August 23 Author Posted August 23 Hell of a match Give me Buckley vs. Yoel Romero in the battle of the fat men .
LJB Posted August 23 Posted August 23 Is Pena less obnoxious tonight? is someone really her in a bit?

I'm sure everyone's on their best behavior since the first round of one-year contracts are up for renewal now/soon They didn't re-sign Kurt Angle Edited August 23 by RAFWiki .
JMill Posted August 23 Posted August 23 I was just going to say the entire crew is far better than they have been… Sparks play by play has been good, Chael with some actual knowledgeable side comments (other than name dropping a Pat Smith text message), and Pena chiming in but not sounding like a wrestler’s girlfriend at her first match.

Woodley trained with Aeoden Sinclair last week and said Aeoden put him through the paces .
JMill Posted August 23 Posted August 23 Damn marketing got me…Notice Shane isn’t following every comment with a Lucy’s advertisement like the last event? He sounded uncomfortable doing it, which I completely understand.
LJB Posted August 23 Posted August 23 Good for DJ… I knew who he was before RAF but had never heard him talk or anything other than a name… he seems like a really cool cat…
JMill Posted August 23 Posted August 23 DiJulius played Matt McDonough in the Anthony Robles movie… fun fact.
RAFWiki Posted August 23 Author Posted August 23 Carr's been training half-speed with Burroughs for the past month - I wonder if that's going to bite him in the ass .
pistol.petes.mustache Posted August 23 Posted August 23 Was that Mitchell cheering for Carr after the win?
