I also think Jax doesn’t look big at 133, and his college weight is all dependent on what weight he wants to go for the Olympics. I honestly can’t see him being big enough for 65 especially on an Olympic year. His goal is Olympic gold, and IMO his only chance at that is at 57 kg, so I don’t see him moving up in the next two years.

He is definitely a bigger 133. He’ll probably move up to 141 next year and train to go 65KG.

He did not look very cut to me. But he has the frame to fill out so that’s probably best for him long term. I do think it would hurt his chances significantly for 2028 though

Lineup next year:

125 Sprately

133 Forrest

141 Vega

149 Raney

157 Robideau

165 Rutledge

174 Lockett

184 Ryder or White

197 Merrill

285 Ross

Lockett was a big 165 and something needs to change. Fade late in season and fact he was gassed late in matches makes me think he was cutting too much weight. And he looked big. So move him to 174 an he may shine.  Rutledge, who I have moving in at 165, may be a stud.  Look at his match against Ruiz of ASU.  He lost because he ran out of gas, but was the much better wrestler (and Ruiz won Big 12s and was an AA).  If Robideau grows, I think he goes up to 165 and both Raney's start.  But he didn't look like a big 157.  Smaller than Taylor and much smaller than Duke or Larkin. I don't see moving Vega or Forrest around unless you have to.  Vega maybe looked big, but hard to tell as he was so long and skinny.  And he really used leverage so going up where guys are taller and you have less leverage may hurt him.  Forrest didn't look that big. Can OSU get 3 more freshman national champs, with Raney, Ross, and White.  Unlikely but not impossible.

My next year line up pick for Oklahoma State:

125- Spratley

133- Rocklin Zinkin

141- Jax Forrest

149- Sergio Vega

157- Robideau

165- Lockett

174- Facundo

184- Ryder

197- Merrill

HWT- Ross

If I'm DT I go after Sinclair (he can't be happy at sorry Missouri), I know Ryder is DT boy but he has to know Ryder is not on the same level). He may even want to replace Facundo. The weakest weights on the team are both the Penn St transfers. And as much as I like Swiderski, I don't think he can make the team next year.

He was literally seconds away from beating Van Ness and making it to the semis and probably would have been a finalist he will find a spot in the lineup

Maybe they do the thing where they take anyone who wants to come, but I’d be surprised if they actually go after anyone.  If Swiderski doesn’t start it’s probably because he got beat out by a freshman.  Both Facundo and Lockett beat the guys that got 2nd this year, they’re not going to be able to improve those spots by much.   Ryder AA’d with one shoulder, only issue is his ceiling is probably 5th so unless they can get one of the big 4 that would also be the ceiling of anyone else they get.
