Loathsome? Or wholesome?
In Cael we trust.
"loathsome" with big scary slimy halloween capital letters with ghouls popping up from behind them.
I actually like cael's never say anything brand of heel much more than taylor.

You fanboying Penn state will certainly detract from it. Please reconsider
i appreciate that sentiment but trust me when I say "fanboying" i'm referring ironically to the loathsome idea that everyone is probably gonna have to have one horse in that particular race.

Is this like Montell Marion's "permanent" suspension?
Who said "permanent" suspension? Seems made up, unless you were too stupid to realize its a contradiction in terms.

kinda cool that we're 5/5.....this might be a fun year on the forum.

I always root against the top handful of teams whoever they are. Can we get an other in the poll?
i could have thrown in Lehigh and I think most of us would legitimately be rooting for them...though the lack of viability sort of undermines the topic.

Given the fact that all the most annoying people are pivoting to OSU (except for that Basch guy), I'm a PSU guy.

Actually Spencer started wrestling some matches that season and shortly after Suriano showed up at the weight Spencer decided to not finish the season. I believe Spencer knew he needed to be 100 percent to beat suriano and wasn't close to 100 percent that season.
i was in Florida where he wrestled that year, he definitely wasn't cruising along and I severely doubt he was thinking about suriano.

I think sammy alvarez doesn't get enough credit for trying to win every major conference title in the ncaa

For the most recent Oly Trials, despite being in State College all week Suriano was the last wrestler by far to pick up his credential/athlete packet etc. He didn't show up until 5 minutes before weigh ins and as best as I could tell he took an Uber to the venue in just his singlet and slides, had the Uber wait while he came in, got his credential, weighed in and then went right back out the door to his Uber.
Doesn't help answer the question but that's my Suriano story and seemed as good a time as any to share it.he's a "me guy"

suriano is a broken toy.

Did coach Robinson get a better position? I feel like it was only a matter of time.
I heard he was applying for one that would have been a big downgrade in terms of wrestling, but maybe he wanted to move?

and some of the younger generation doesn’t seem to think drugs and guns should prevent you from working at a school… in this case Lehigh.
my former cope was that sasso got shot while purchasing, which isn't great but i wouldn't have minded...pretty obvious he's closer to the wrong side of the deal.

whats the controversy in this topic?

Has it been confirmed his getting shot was a drug related incident?
this is one of the great unsaids in the history of the forum.

I mean that is not even close to the same comparison and you know it. I don’t remember Jim beating John like 7 times throughout their career.
Ben and Chris were both two-time dominant champs and Chris dominated Askren on the mat. If you want to say Ben had the better career because he got to RS so he has one more AA fine. I just can’t unsee Chris dominating Ben 90% of the time the wrestled each other (and they wrestled each other a ton).
askren beat pendleton also. odd you left that out.

I’m taking Pendleton because I watched him dominant Askren time and time again. I know it’s crazy but I tend to think the better wrestler was the one who dominated the other.
yeah just like whoever beat john smith his sophmore year had a way better career.

Just based on the stats (2-2-1-1 with 2 Hodges for Askren vs 3-1-1 for Pendleton), I think everyone would take Askren. The no redshirt consideration is interesting though.
no one is taking pendleton. its like jake rosholt vs pre scandal synder at this point.

the flo bros are heavily susceptible to every form of bias no matter how shallow. Take away the hodge's, stylistic influence, olympian status....all those dorks would vote for him just because he had funny hair.

I think an important part you are leaving out are the three team championships OSU won with Pendleton on the team.
