  1. Nothing mentioned on the hokie board. He’s a good dude from a good family. He’d be an upgrade at many schools and wish him the best. He appears to still be on campus and was photographed in the VT post about brotherhood and team culture. There was one obvious person not present for that photo…
  2. I was just going by memory. The few times that I watched him wrestle, he was high octane Plus going up a class would likely be helpful. He was a big 174
  3. VT needs a 184 guy who can wrestle 7 minutes. He’d be a good fit.
  4. Probably. The younger brother never saw any action that I recall. With TJ’s downward trajectory, teams are taking a risk with him alone.
  5. Stewart’s daddy said they would have transferred if the AJ’s brother would have signed with VT. He said something to the effect of bad blood while they were all at Blair. So not sure TJ lands there
  6. It sounds like Rider’s Isaac Dean to VT to fill their 184 vacant slot.
  7. His dad was horrible on the VT forum after TJ got AA. He was posting comments that “we” aren’t sure TJ would come back to VT after he AA’d, said something to the effect he needed “respect”, whatever that means. He basically was acting like he was a sports agent in a very public way. It wasn’t too well received by many of the VT fans. Then this past preseason, he posted that the Mizzou kid didn’t stand a chance against TJ, and he lost by MD. He also said the only person who could beat TJ at 184 was himself. That didn’t age well…
  8. Nothing but pure daddy drama with that one. The risk is not worth the reward, especially with a 500 or so win percentage this past year.
  9. Good point. I’m man enough to admit I was wrong.
  10. To most VT fans, TJ leaving isn’t a shocker. He was a shell of his former self this season. It was reported a preseason injury hampered his results but as the season went on, something else appeared to lacking on his part
  11. Oh honey, I’m not bitter the kid is maximizing his opportunities, like I already said. It’s the way he conducted himself. And I still say you shouldn’t procreate or be involved with mentoring. Commitment and allegiance used to mean something. Go ahead, call me another name, you’ll sleep better and be happier person, right?
  12. Don’t be a drama queen and keyboard commando, princess
  13. Don’t be all Confucius like without reading the full chain. He chose to engage, not me
  14. If you don’t see the problem that the kid created, not by getting “paid” but the manner in which he did it, then you are clueless and hopefully not procreating or raising or mentoring boys to be men. Your demeanor speaks volume.
  15. He’s a stud. Props to him and this is coming from a VT fan. I think he was never a state champ either but was a high placer. Coach Pops deserves credit for scouting and developing. He and Eddie had a couple battles this year and I look forward to seeing them scrap next year. Robinson won when it mattered most
