Mehdi yousefi won the junior world in August . He's a medal contender definitely . Rahmani is good. The rest idk. About Greco, Farokhisenjani just won the senior worlds i don't think he'll wrestke next month .

I think the current Amouzad is p4p best freestyle wrestler in the world. Shamil can push him no doubt and its good to fight for your position because it make you train harder .

I don't get why though. They already have Ramazanov and his brother . Why not shamil !! Shamil has two wins over amouzad. Bahrain would welcome him in their team anyway.

This guy Saeid esmaeili is a generational talent . A lot of people who love freestyle say Greco is boring . I'd say Esmaeili is great to watch and learn from . Tough final against jafarov tomorrow but Esmaeili should be a clear favorite .

Shamil Mamedov completed his transfer to Bulgaria. I think he'll be eligible to compete in 2026 . Also he is 2_0 against current champ Amouzad .

Always fun watching 130 kg Greco guys going for it. Mirzazadeh wins gold . Congrats Farokhisenjani wins gold at 82 kg . In five matches he conceded 1 point only !! Real impressive . Saravi will wrestle Sargsyan (russ) for gold tomorrow.

I noticed this during his match with zare. Thaz training partner could make 97 but it won't happen unless thaz decide to try 125 kg.

I think it's a mix of both specially for how dominant he was . He definitely didn't train as hard for this world and yes he's huge for 97 so the weight can affect his performance.
