    I’ll say the same thing about social Security as I say about universal health care. Have an opt in/opt out. Instead of me paying in to SS I can keep my money and invest it myself. I’d have 10x more than what I’ll get back with the gov running it.

    There are union pension trustees all over the place. They have an impact on how and where the money is invested. Many times it’s invested in politically motivated funds that fail. You can look it up
