  1. I wanna add Connor Hartman and Mike Macchiavello to the conversation but I think they both did win a state title (Washington and North Carolina respectfully) their senior years
  2. Just the national team mostly; Aberdeen in the SPL but admittedly that's loosely cause life and streaming challenges
  3. Just proudly Scottish; wore a kilt to prom, played the bagpipes, follows the Scottish national soccer teams etc.
  4. Related - anyone know what's going on w/ Chittum? All the speculation and people talking like it was confirmed was he was going home to Nooga but he wasn't in the article they put out today about transfers coming in
  5. I think that's just an Ivy League thing as the Ivies as a whole don't allow redshirts so the kid has to officially leave school to use their redshirt. Most other institutions this wouldn't work as the eligibility clock starts when they enroll so they don't have to unenroll to use their redshirt and if they've already used their redshirt unenrolling would still just be wasting a year of eligbility
  6. No offense to Corby but please don't connect me to Corby; thanks in advance
  7. The post I had originally quoted we were talking about Pitt; so Pittsburgh would be the city in question - which is indeed the Steel in my name as I grew up there but my fandom does not lie w/ a Pennsylvania institution
  8. My only question would be does Hayden want it? or does he want to settle down a little and learn at Stanford for a few years since he's bounced around a bit.
  9. We don't need anyone to elaborate on how a johnson pays bills . . .
  10. I have no idea if this is true or not but being in a city (as opposed to a town) in a place that loves wrestling would have to give them quality NIL opportunities, right?
  11. Pitt is the intriguing one to me on Melvin's list (assuming that's also Bo's list). Since my fan bias didn't make the cut, I wouldn't hate them all going there; would still be the face of the ACC as some mentioned
  12. Castiglione retiring too; don't think he would ever drop the wrestling program - can't say the same for the next guy
  13. Agreed but huge difference between not being able to police it and not even trying to as well
  14. Thank you!
  15. NIL as it was supposed to be is totally fine; but it was the NCAA refusing to allow/police it from the start that let it immediately become the wild wild west of pay for play that got us where we are
  16. I had hoped that legislature that was introduced in, I think the Ohio state congress (maybe?) would get something but I feel nothing came of it
  17. I was looking at Willie's list of Fargo Contenders and I saw Adam St Cyr out of Maine at 150 lbs; anyone know anything about him? Feel you never see someone from Maine making a list like that
  18. Oh don't worry, I'm not going away - just strategically set the bar really low so I look like I'm getting better at this
  19. Welp terrible first post by me; I'll do better
  20. Isaiah Powe is an interesting one; he took a 25 - 2 record into NCAAs his true freshman year, went into the portal but then returned to Chattanooga. . . and followed it up w/ an 0-3 sophomore year. To be fair to him, his 3 losses were Mendez, Latona, and Eligh Rivera of Princeton; all in November and then he went MIA after that and back in the portal. Something seems off in all of that but there's also some real potential in the right room.
