  1. My only point was that I don't think it's fair to call what the government has been doing to Iranian people as part of their culture. Maybe it's a lost in translation thing that I'm not getting but to me that means that Iranians are ok with not having freedom to protest which is completely not true. If we gather anything about Iranian culture from these protests it should be that Iranians are a resilient bunch that still want their voices to be heard even when their government is murdering them and their children.
  2. I'd encourage you to read up a little more on Iranian history then if that's what your belief is. Post 1980 Iran does not define the other near 3000 years of Iranian history. I do agree that Iranians are currently being repressed by an evil regime and I hope for a change but this is nowhere near "Iranian culture*. In fact very little of the regime is Iranian.
  3. Labeling Iranians getting jailed for protesting as "Iranian culture" does not help prove your point.
  4. He's said he'll be 65 through Paris and he'll go from there. Easy to forget that he wrestled 57 in 2020. Had a good match with Uguev not too long ago.

Amouzad was supposed to wrestle for the Shahr Bank team (Reza Yazdani is the coach) but backed out. He would have surely won it for them.
  6. Sorry but I don't believe that's right. The points she got from winning worlds this year will immediately reset after 2023 worlds. She'd still have to attend worlds next year and finish in a high position to be a favourite to win the "top point getter".
