Hilton Head Joe Posted March 4 Posted March 4 When you look at the class coming in from high school there is always a who in this group of phenoms can win the ultimate prize- Olympic Gold. It is a very rare feat only .01 percent of wrestlers achieve. In the lighter weights Jax and Bo stand out to possibly achieve this goal. But there is an interesting group of three 285 guys that could possibly do it. Ross, Merrill, and Mocco are a huge cut above the rest. I predict one of them wins an NCAA title next year. Hopefully no redshirts cause these kids are old. But could any of these three make the Olympic team in 2028 and win gold? Two will probably cut to 214 right? Mocco & Ross are like 235. Merrill is like 270 so he is staying at heavy. I have never seen three high school kids in the same class at 285 with so much promise. Can Mocco or Ross take out Snyder by 2028? Can Merrill beat Paris or Hendrickson by 2028? Heavyweight is looking bright our next three cycles!
