So many just backed to edge and stayed there I was expecting the offensive opponent to just go back to center and point to mat in front of them. Make opponent get there and highlight to ref the stalling that was occurring by the other guy backing up. Showy? Yes. But it is a great way to tell the ref to wake up and call the stalling. ChickenWing Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Edge of the mat wrestling and edge of the mat refereeing are hurting the sport. it reminds me of the old Dean Smith 4 Corners offense in basketball. It was effective for Dean to get wins but it was punishing for the fans and brought about rule changes.
