I mean Russia did the whole PWL thing with us and USA so I wouldn't be surprised if similar events happen again. But I reckon smaller wrestling countries might for example Hungary or Serbia. I agree those with established wrestling traditions probably not but those developing or want to be potentially. But it is a stretch tbh.

As for Khateri, he is only on the team because the 61 at asian champs came fifth. I guess they think he can do better or just want to give someone else a chance. They sent Khateri to a junior tournament in Armenia a few months ago and he didn't do well so I wouldn't expect much. 

Ah ok that makes more sense. I was trying to remember if I saw Tat anywhere so that makes sense tbh. Hopefully he does well in worlds. Is he Mazani or is he Tehrani? I remember Khateri going to Armenia and doing poorly but I think everyone that went was really bad even Dadmarz. It's a shame that khateri has fallen off since he won u17 worlds but he is still super young so he may end up being a world beater in a couple years time. Maybe the higher weight suits him better than 57kg

He represents Hormozgan. Couldn't find anything on if he is actually from there or just representing them.

But that logic runs into problems since Sadulaev destroyed Taylor, the same Taylor who owned the rivalry against Yazdani. Saduleav is really strong and has excellent balance, body movement instincts. I see him figuring out Yazdani, especially this older and injured version. 

I think Yazdani is going to find 97kg a wake up call compared to what him and Taylor feasted on for years at 86 kg. He's going to have to beat people like Snyder when before it was rolling up Deepak and Amine to get your guaranteed silver/bronze.

Yaz will keep it upper body and try and hand fight with him for 6 minutes. He will never shoot on Sad which is what got Taylor killed. I don't think he will win but I think unless he is completely washed from his injuries he will be able to lose by less than Taylor did against Sad.

Is Yaz going straight to 97 or will he do 92 and then 97 for 2028? I am not sure I would pick him to beat Azarpira.

He is heavier than  92 by all accounts- Dabir said about 100 a little while ago. He would be sent to some ranking events and considered  for the  Asian champ initially to see how he is fairing before any major challenge to Azarpira is on the cards I suspect.

He looked huge from what I have seen however definitely some weight that he could do away with. Wherever he is at his best I hope he competes. He would probably win gold this year at 92. Trent is one of the favorites and while I think trent is better at 92 and is better since they met Yaz kind of demolished him last they met.
