BuckyBadger Posted August 11 Posted August 11 I turned it off after regulation ended and it looked like Vali v won. Then later I see Zhamalov advanced in the bracket. What happened, and was it legit? I didn’t see anything controversial during the match.
larry_bird_enthusiast Posted August 11 Posted August 11 Crazy call. 4 seconds left, Valiev was circling, match ends, Valiev wins. Zhamalov corner challenges fleeing (not even a sequence), they review, give Zhamalov 1, overturn the match. I’ve seen plenty of bad fleeing before - that wasn’t close.
