Dake w/ a solid draw; should have Emami or Chamizo in the quarters, both of whom he knows pretty well. If he makes it to semis, could have Takatani again who he had a close bout with last year.

Man that lower right R16 is stacked af, with Salkazanov, Zhamalov, and Kadzi.

About the best draw Parris could've asked for relatively speaking. His first match vs Munkhtur should be very telling.

Don't know enough about the field to comment but happy that Japan is on the other side 🙂

Dake has a good situation.

Sidakov, of course, is out.

Dake may see Iran in the quarters—but Iran has a pigtail match versus Chamizo off the bat.

Dake may then see Cabolov in the semis.

Then in the finals he may see Greece, Salkazanov, or Kadzi. (Kadzi has a pigtail then meets Salkazanov in the first round.)

Still a tough tournament, but it’s a good situation for Dake.
