I get his argument, but I agree with Askren on FRL that having stalling calls helps with making it more entertaining, because otherwise you'd probably see guys just turtle up after getting a lead.  As Askren also said I too was surprised by Cael saying the new rules mean 'they're trying to get rid of mat wrestling" but then simultaneously saying he loved the 3 pt takedown, since I would think the 3 point takedown is contributing to "trying to get rid of mat wrestling"
