Don't want to jinx anything but Mat B has a very interesting score at the break as well . . .
-
Not only does Poland not score but Snyder gets at TD too; 4 - 0 Snyder at the break
-
4-0 for the actual Cap over Poland at the break. That is like Valencia leading 8-0 after 45 seconds.
-
Poland put on the passivity clock
-
Yoshida up on the Georgian 3-2 right now midway through the first.
-
How big is Kyle Snyder actually? I know he is massive in terms of musculature. He is always the smaller (framed) wrestler. Could he trim down and go 92 KG or even 86 KG? Get somewhere his frame allows him to be average sized? This is obviously a joke. It's just hilarious to me that he is always thinner (at the shoulder) and shorter than anybody R16 and on at Worlds.
-
Quick step out for Snyder, 1 - 0

I've gotten loads about getting an oil change for the car -
Snyder coming out to Mat C to face Poland; I'm out after this one

RBY is looking to bring home a medal in the same bracket that Lee didn't get the chance to wrestle for one at.
-
FWIW, the guy has only lost to Nick Lee from the USA. He's beaten Shnaulty, Lugo, Cornella, and a few others rather convincingly. He has also gotten destroyed by Sujeet a half dozen times this year, so that is hard to ignore.
-
Question: Would Sea-bass now, or Micic circa 2023 have gotten as good as they have if they had competed for the US? Both of them seem to have gotten more and more savvy with the dozens of high-level international matches they've gotten while they wrestle free and clear as their nation's #1. Is RBY headed that way too?
-
Yeah, I am not doubting you, I will look later and see what is going on. It would make sense to transfer for sure.
-
I think he is, and should be favored.

Also, the YOLO challenge was to try to get Amouzad on a stepout. It was right in front of 'Ringer and he thought Amouzad's knee went down first. Unfortunately, the only guy I think that can hang with Amouzad in his half of the bracket is Sujeet, and Amouzad looked very gassed. I don't think Sujeet is anywhere near as good as Amouzad, but if Amouzad doesn't have much time to recover, it could bite us in the ass.
-
How do those who watched the seabass match’s feel about his chances during the next round?
-
He was aggressive, which you don't see that against Amouzad, typically. Amouzad was also more chirpy than I've ever seen him. Complaining a lot. Was clearly gassed early, which is typical against the USA. It makes me wish we could have seen someone like Retherford against him (but that would have had to have been at 70 KG, not 65 KG Retherford). Unfortunately, we don't have anyone at 65 KG that is going to make that a match, I don't think. Maybe Mendez? Not really sure. I think Woods came in with the right gameplan. Come out firing and try to not give up any big moves. The problem with not trying to give up big moves while being aggressive is that it was Amouzad. Big, fast, and really fckn good. I was happy with Woods performance there.

Man it seems as though France and Belgium are the new Russian training grounds.
-
He got to legs at least 3x but couldn't finish; Amouzad used his aggressiveness against him at times but largely was just the better wrestler
-
Oh 65…. One day USA, one day….
-
Just needs to finish. I wish more American as a whole was stronger upper body.
-
Was there any thoughts otherwise for Real? (Really?) D3

Yolo challenge loses

Winchester seems to be on the backside of her peak; that 2019 world title is a long time ago Rodriguez is in her first senior world's appearance and has some age level credentials (junior gold) but was one of the weaker links in the team this year

I'm BACK! ... just in time to see Woods teched by the Iranian... YOLO challenge? D3
