Always much debate on rule changes, interpretations of ref calls, weight classes, rankings, seedings, venues, etc etc etc. All good.
I propose a much-needed change: brackets. Need a standard for every tournament- globally.
No more hunting through six tabs, three websites, a Facebook post from 6:17 a.m., and a PDF named Hey Stupid to find simple things. It's 2026. We have self-driving cars, drone warfare, and AI that is about to send The Terminator. Yet somehow the 132-pound bracket is still being treated with a #2 pencil and sent via carrier pigeon. If I need Seal team-6 night vision , a forensic scientist, and the eyesight of Clark Kent to read a bracket on my phone, we have an issue. Navigating wrestling brackets requiring a team of 20 CSI hunters or Indiana Jones DNA is missing the plot.
A couple of computer science majors for a box of Pop Tarts can create a shared service for ALL tournaments to use, so we simple fans can enjoy the tournament without having to dedicate hours to bracket mgmt more difficult than Magellan finding the new world.
I am cranky today and was triggered from the crappy bracket format for U-20's. LOL
