Shavaev got robbed, the last call was atrociously bad.

I wonder when Sidakov/Naifonov will beat Zakuev/Kadiev to go to the Olympics.  I don't see either wrestler taking their place.

let's see. Kadiev was impressive at that championships. I dont think that Zakuev will be on wrestle-off with Sidakov

It’s not about winning, it’s about the repeated and documented multiple failures of said drug tests. USADA is one of the most aggressive antidoping outfits in the world and those US basketball teams aren’t failing PED tests while winning either.

No one’s accusing countries of cheating because they win, they’re accusing countries of cheating because they have been caught cheating multiple times and there seems to be no hurry to clean up the anti-doping outfits in those countries. It’s not ONLY a Russia thing - look at the countries that aggressively dope in weightlifting, boxing and other combat sports. Russia doesn’t need to dope en masse … yet they have. That’s the point. We know not every champion is complicit in doping.

mr wrestling Buffer! take it easy! i understand my truth hurts many americans! i understand! but you have to deal with it! Rusian wrestlers are all clean, just here people cant must accept it, thye cant belive that Russia better, but thats real! Just deal with it! thats it. No need to looking for other reasons, just Russia is better in fs and greco than U.S... U.S. is good in wrestling, you guys won 1995 and 2017 worlds! thats great result! its amazing! But no need blame every Russian wrestlers who beat americans so easy in using "juice". Just say "okay we were destroyed here, need to practice more". Peace!

    "were?"

I highly doubt WADA has been making a lot of trips to Russia in the past year!

Russian wrestlers have been tested by WADA every month, idk... I text with Rashidov almost every week, WADA tested him twice in July, they took test from him in the begging of July then came back to him in 3 days at 4 am lol.  All clean. Idk why are americans so sensitive and cry about "juice" If Russia beat them every year, it doesn't mean that Russians use "juice". Can we call all americans use "juice" if they win every year in basketball worlds? idk.... and yeah congrats to the U.S team with 3rd place in FS. Iran won, Russia finished in second place! Congrats!

Chermen Valiev, not Radik, haha.  Radik looks as if he wants to start fighting in MMA

This event marketing was a little ambiguous.  At first there was a 16-man tournament in every weight category, and the winners of 74 and 97 would face Valiev/Zhabrailov in the main event on Saturday; now neither Valiev and Zhabrailov will wrestle on Saturday to determine the world team, but we will find out on August 10th.

Now Sidakov lost, somehow, to Bizhoev...  I won't make excuses, though I think Bizhoev was lucky.  Gatsalov apparently said there will be a rematch between Sidakov-Bizhoev, Bizhoev-Valiev and now Sidakov-Valiev.  I still think Sidakov is the best at 74kg (internationally, too) and this loss will make him better, but it sucks if you're Chermen Valiev.

About Sadulaev vs. Zhabrailov yeah, they will wrestle-off for the world on August in the end of the training camp. At 74 kg we got Bizhoev/Sidakov. Was very close match. this match reminded me of Sidakov-Jb 2, and Gatsalov will give second chance to Sidakov in wrestling camp too. Anyways, i think Russia's line up is goint to look like:
    57 Uguev
    61 A.Magomedov
    65 Mamedov
    70 -
    74 Sidakov
    79 Usmanov
    86 Bagaev/Naifinov/Gadzhimagomedov
    92 M.Kurbanov/Valiev
    97 Saduliaev
    125 A.Kurbanov/A.Khizriev

If eligible to compete at the worlds, I'd take Uguev to win gold.  RBY or Lee cannot stop him.

    Abasgadzhi, too.

I hope Mamedov can do well at 65kg, I think I'd take him over Amouzad, but also want Otoguro to show that he is still the best at 65kg.

    Sidakov, too.

Otoguro is lucky! 65 is the hardest weight class now in fs! cant wait world serbia

We unfortunately won't be seeing Sadulaev vs. Zhabrailov this weekend (assuming both would make it to the final).  Zhabrailov wants more time to heal his shoulder and will meet Sadulaev at the training camp in Sochi, where a match will be held to determine the World representative.

It isn't clear if Sadulaev will still compete (I think not).

A Sidakov vs. Valiev match looks to be the main event.

    Trainin camp

you mean Sidakov vs Bizhoev? Valiev is out, he's in Thailand. Sadulaev is in final, gonna wrestle his teammate Akhmed Tazhudinov (Bahrian)

Not that anyone’s asking me, but why not UAE? Americans get a free visitor visa when they arrive, and it’s a surprisingly affordable place to visit.

UWW is not listening americans for comfy place where they can visit without visa, they want to replace location asap

You can cross the border with minimal hassles. The Jordanian government has mostly worked out their differences with the Israeli government years ago.

if Lalovich chose Israel then Iran would refuse to compete in Israel

I don’t expect them (POL) to change that decision, ever. That country hates Russia.

Little story. My wife’s grandmother is from Poland, near the Belarussian/Ukrainian border. She’s in her late 90s, nearly blind, and senile. Thinks my 4 month old is 3 years old, thinks my wife is her sister, etc. But if you want to get a moment of absolute clarity from her, find a video of someone speaking Russian and play it nearby. She’ll spit on the ground and start cursing in multiple languages. Polish, Urdu, Hindi, Spanish, etc. She and her sister, mother and grandmother were captured by the Russians and spent time in a Siberian gulag during WWII. Lost a finger and gained a really crappy tattoo.

When the war ended they were released and traveled from Russia, through Kazakhstan, to Pakistan, then India, where they boarded a ship for Mexico. Lived in Mexico City for a year or two before ending up in Chicago.

It’s not just the old Polish people. I worked with some Polish dudes on the far side of the world who said that they were itching to take some Russian scalps. They had never been personally injured by them, but hated Russia and Russians. Bobcia’s stories must’ve been pretty effective.

thats why Lalovich changed places. Because Poland hates Russia. It was a great decision! I love it! It's time to change Finland U23 world too. We fallow wrestling or hate each other? I hope we love wrestling and don't care about why did grandmothers and grandfathers find themselves in Mexico in 19th-20th century. Peace
