  1. I don't see how forcing a wrestler who misses a match to miss more matches helps wrestling. And in football, the decision to just select conference champions is already under debate. Here are my 2 thoughts: Sports are more about the athletes than the fans. If the athletes are healthy and ready to go, the fans benefit. No fan enjoys watching a hobbled athlete. There are some components of sports you can't govern. If a coach or a wrestler does not feel healthy enough to compete, end of story. IF, however, a coach or a team is perceived as abusing the option of forfeiting, then the wrestler - certainly in today's transfer world - can choose to leave. That would certainly send a message to that team.
  2. You guys are so wrong about almost everything. The President waited for Carter's match to finish as to not take eyes off the match. That was the dignified thing to do. Would you have preferred he came in during a bout? Of course not. Too bad for you.
  3. 184 is already forming to be an unbelievable weight next year and for years to come, with Freshmans Ferrari and Ryder, and Sophomores McEnelly and Rocco Welsh.
  4. My idea is to use the top 33 teams from the previous NCAA tournament (have a play in match - they are always fun) wrestled in 4 different locations (1 in the east, 2 in the Midwest, and 1 in the west) of 8 teams. The top 2 teams from each location compete in the 'Final's' tournament (could be same location or different location every year) for 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th.
  5. I know all the weights in the Big 10 are strong, but 133 is insane. #2 Lucas Byrd, #4 Drake Ayala, #5 Braeden Davis, #9 Dylan Shawver, #10 Nick Bouzakis, #11 Braxton Brown, #16 Jacob VanDee, #18 Tyler Wells, #24 Zan Fugitt.
