Oglethorpe County Middle School located 20 minutes east of Athens, Ga is currently seeking a qualified head middle school wrestling coach who can also assist with the varsity team. We are looking for a coach who will teach at our middle school and make an impact in the building on a daily basis and in our school athletics program. Oglethorpe County has built a strong tradition in wrestling over the last 6 years having won a Dual State Championship, Dual Runner-up, Dual 4th place and finishing top 4 in the traditional format numerous times and having a Runner-up finish.
We have averaged 30+ kids in our middle school program over the last 6 years and want the success to continue. We are a small Class A school in Georgia, the smallest classification. As I said before, we are located 20 minutes East of Athens, Ga. Oglethorpe County is a farming community with a lot of land/hunting/fishing etc....good house prices and low taxes.
