Mexico comes out quick and gets in on Duke's legs but then doesn't know what to do. Duke gets the TD and 2 laces to go up 6 - 0. Mexico comes at him again and Duke pancakes him to his back for the pin. Exciting 44 seconds
-
FALL for Duke over Mexico... D3
-
Duke vs Mexico coming up now; Duke won his first 11 - 0. Mexico had a bye to get here
-

Caso was a Cadet silver (lost to Sealey)
-
To quote a Jackson Brown song... Running On Empty! D3
-
Damn this Mamivand guy sucks..wrestles like Goleij except he is a 74kg guy. That match was the worst showcase of the modern Iranian style of wrestling. Guy is down 3 points with 10 seconds left and he is still trying to get 1 point stepouts. How do you make a junior team in Iran and literally not have a leg attack?
-
9-8 Caso... looks like they're BOTH running on empty! D3
-
Italy concedes a stepout w/ 2 seconds left and holds on to beat Iran 9 - 8. Iran doing the old school Musakaev thing where he just lays on his back and refuses to get up for handshakes
-
Caso w/ a TD... D3
-
Whoa - Iran just conceded a gas tank TD 9 - 7 Italy w/ 30 seconds left
-
Caso w/ criteria as the Iranian gets a step out... D3
-
705 Italy AND Iran looking like he's hitting on "E"... D3
-
Italy just got a step out; they needed some momentum change but I feel they went for broke and burned what they had left to do it
-
I saw that in the bracket earlier and I thought I just wasn't awake enough; would never have paired that name/nation together in my head
-
I'm on that... just as Iran gets a step out. D3
-

I'm still on my first but I'm normally caffeine free so one cup will do me wonders
-
He got his lead and played the game smart; extremely frustrating though Khaniev will have Wagin the German in the quarters; whomever wins that should make the finals
-
Working on my 2nd cuppa of EB... D3
-
Khaniev played keep-a-way while holding center of the mat... frustrating match for Lockett (AND for us watching that!) Gotta rewatch that later... D3
-
5 - 1 after losing the challenge; needs a big move in a hurry. Gets a step out 5 - 2. Lockett w/ a flurry of activity in the end but it's not actually productive movement at all and he loses 5 - 2
