50 kg women’s freestyle
2025 was a new era for American women’s wrestling at 50 kg as Sarah Hildebrandt retired and Audrey Jimenez earned her first spot on the Senior World Team. Fast forward to 2026 and Jimenez is injured and Hildebrandt returns to competition at 53 kg, which also led to a handful of contenders dropping down to 50 kg.
