Fargo Junior Men's Freestyle Champions by State (Since 2015)

On Wednesday evening, we saw a whole new crop of competitors who etched their names into high school wrestling history by winning stop sign, signifying a Junior National freestyle championship. A Junior freestyle title is one of the most coveted championships in high school wrestling and it generally precludes success at the collegiate and international levels.

We’ve gone through the last 10 tournaments (there was no tournament in 2020) to see which states have produced the most Junior freestyle championships. If you follow the action in Fargo, the results aren’t too surprising.
