Head Wrestling Coach Wanted — The Wolves Den Wrestling Club (South Gate, CA)
About Us:
The Wolves Den Jiu Jitsu & Wrestling Club is a rapidly growing program in South Gate, CA, affiliated with the legendary Carlson Gracie team. In our first year of wrestling we earned the CAGWA Small Club Runner-Up Award. We run both folkstyle and freestyle and have big plans to expand into multiple locations.
Position:
Seeking a motivated, experienced Head Wrestling Coach to lead our youth/teen program and build a championship culture.
Responsibilities:
Plan and run practices (3–5 evenings/week)
Coach at CAGWA/USAW competitions
Mentor assistant coaches as the program grows
Coordinate with BJJ staff for a well-rounded grappling program
Communicate effectively with parents and athletes
Requirements:
Strong wrestling background (HS/College; FS/GR/Folkstyle)
2+ years coaching experience preferred (club/HS/college)
USAW membership & SafeSport (or willing to obtain)
Reliable, professional, and athlete-development focused
Compensation:
Percentage split of program revenue (high growth upside)
Tournament coaching stipends
Be part of a team scaling to multiple locations
