Full-Time Position
We seek a passionate and dedicated Government and Economics Teacher to join our dynamic faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social studies education, a commitment to fostering a love for learning, and the ability to inspire students to engage critically with civic and economic concepts. This position requires creating and implementing engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and contributing to the school's vibrant community. A bachelor's degree in Social Studies or a related field is required.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and deliver comprehensive and engaging curriculum for Government and Economics courses.
· Foster a classroom environment conducive to learning and student engagement.
· Utilize various teaching methods and instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs.
· Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, projects, and examinations.
· Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
· Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
· Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
· Maintain accurate and complete records of student performance and attendance.
We have a new wrestling room and the full support of the administration to build a program. The program is middle school through high school.
